Green clay helps to draw out dirt and impurities from the skin and absorbs excess oil. Lavender and tea tree essential oils are antibacterial and healing.

You will need:

120g melt and pour soap base

3ml green clay powder

7ml jojoba oil

5 drops lavender essential oil

5 drops tea tree essential oil

Method:

Melt the soap base. Take a small quantity of soap and mix it with the green clay powder to make a smooth paste, then mix thoroughly into rest of the melted soap. Incorporate the jojoba oil and lavender and tea tree essential oils and pour the mixture into a soap mould. Place in the freezer to harden and leave overnight. In the morning, remove the soap from the freezer and flip out of the mould while still cold and hard. Leave on a wire tray for at least week to harden. Makes one bar.
