We've had to disable the website template for the blog as it interferes with the text display and causes bits of it to disappear completely.

Green Tea Astringent

Here is a recipe for a gentle green tea astringent that helps remove dirt and oil from the skin, leaving it clean and fresh. Other herbs, such as chamomile and lavender, can be substituted for the green tea is desired.




You will need:


450ml green tea infusion, made with dried herb or bags

50ml witch hazel water

10 drops lavender essential oil

5 drops lemon essential oil

10 drops preservative





Make the green tea infusion then allow to cool and strain, discarding the herb material/bags. Add the witch hazel water to the green tea infusion then add the preservative and lavender and lemon essential oils.


Pour into a dark glass bottle and store in the refrigerator.
