Eucalyptus Foot Scrub & Heel Balm

Eucalyptus is has long been used in foot care formulations. Use this scrub and heel balm to gently resolve problems with hard, cracked skin.

 

 

Eucalyptus Foot Scrub

 

100g dead sea salt

60g melt and pour soap base

60ml olive oil

10 drops eucalyptus globulus essential oil

 

Melt the soap base in a double boiler or bain marie until liquid. Stir in the olive oil and dead sea salt. Remove from the heat and continue stirring until cool. Add the eucalyptus essential oil and stir thoroughly. Place the scrub in a dark glass jar.

 

To use: use the scrub after soaking feet in a bath or footbath for best results.

 

 

Eucalyptus Heel Balm

 

100g shea butter

10 drops eucalyptus globulus essential oil

 

Melt the shea butter in a double boiler or bain marie. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly. Add the eucalyptus essential oil and stir thoroughly to ensure even dispersal. Pour into a dark glass jar and leave to set. If you wish to speed up the setting time, place the jar in the refrigerator for two to three hours.

 

To use: gently massage the balm into affected areas after bathing or showering. Use in conjunction with the eucalyptus foot scrub for best results.
