Frankincense & Rose Moisturising Skin Cream

Posted on

Frankincense and rose are deeply moisturising, toning and revitalising. This is a recipe for an easy to make moisturising cream that is best suited to mature skins.

You will need:

3g grated beeswax

10ml coconut oil

10ml rosehip seed oil

10ml avocado oil

1ml vitamin E oil

15ml spring water

3 drops frankincense essential oil

3 drops rose essential oil

Melt the beeswax and vegetable oils in a double boiler or bain marie until the beeswax has melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the vitamin E oil. Trickle the spring water into the mix, while beating the mixture with an electric whisk. Continue whisking until the mixture has cooled and thickened then stir in the frankincense and rose essential oils. Spoon the cream into a dark, glass jar and keep in the refrigerator. This cream will keep for around three months.
