We've had to disable the website template for the blog as it interferes with the text display and causes bits of it to disappear completely.

It's a bit rough and unvarnished looking, but hey ho...:)

Chelidonum majus

Also known as Common Celandine and Garden Celandine, Greater Celandine is a herbaceous perennial plant of the poppy family. The juice of this plant was used in old folk remedies to treat warts, calluses, eczema, corns and ringworm. This herb should not be confused with Lesser Celandine, which comes from a different plant family and has different actions.

Nowadays tincture of Greater Celandine is used for the removal of warts, ringworm, eczema, psoriasis, bruises and sprains, although the fresh juice is still used by herbalists in the treatment of warts. It should be applied topically and never to healthy skin.
