We've had to disable the website template for the blog as it interferes with the text display and causes bits of it to disappear completely.

It's a bit rough and unvarnished looking, but hey ho...:)

Panax ginseng

Also known as Red Ginseng or Red Korean Ginseng, Ginseng is a perennial plant whose root, fresh or dried, is valued in herbal remedies. It is cultivated in eastern Asia i.e. mostly in China, Siberia and Korea.

Ginseng is used in herbal skin care for its nourishing, anti-aging, toning and rejuvenating qualities. Panax (Red Korean) ginseng is not to be confused with Panax quinquefolius, (American ginseng); or Eleutherococcus senticosus (Siberian ginseng). Siberian ginseng is not a true ginseng.

Ginseng can be purchased as a tincture to be added at percentages of up to 10% to anti-aging creams, lotions and gels.
