We've had to disable the website template for the blog as it interferes with the text display and causes bits of it to disappear completely.

It's a bit rough and unvarnished looking, but hey ho...:)

Thymus vulgaris

Thyme is antiseptic and stimulating. A thyme infusion is an effective mouthwash and deep cleansing facial wash for blemished skins. The infusion can also be applied to eczema, psoriasis, rashes and skin irritations.

A thyme infusion can be poured into the bath for a revitalising soak and can be used as a facial steam. It can be combined with vinegar and used as a hair rinse.

To make a thyme infusion, use 250ml thyme to 750ml boiling water. Infuse for thirty minutes. Allow to cool and pour into a clean, glass bottle. Refrigerate and use within one week.
